Now you can backup your WhatsApp conversations in your Google drive cloud storage.
Yes! You heard right 🙂 WhatsApp has just released a new version namely 2.12.45 which gives you the option to backup your chat conversations to your Google drive account.
How to Backup WhatsApp Chat using Google Drive
It’s pretty simple. All you need to do is just
1. Download the latest version of WhatsApp from APK mirrror site. (Don’t click on “Get it on Play Store” Icon just click “Download”)
2.Install it and replace the existing WhatsApp app.
3. Go to Settings > Chat Settings > Chat backup > Backup Frequency ( choose from daily, weekly, monthly,etc)
4. Now it will ask you grant access to your Google account. Just give the access by clicking “OK”.
That’s it. Now you have successfully configured your WhatsApp to automatically backup your WhatsApp chats in your Google drive account.
Note: You will not get this new feature if you download through Google play store. Since it is beta version ( testing). It will be available in play store after some time.
So if you want this feature right now just go here, download, install and enjoy.
Note : As of now this feature is available only for android users. iOS and windows users have to wait for some time to get this new Whatsapp Google drive backup feature.
How to Restore WhatsApp Chat from Google Drive :
While installing the WhatsApp app you need to login with your google ID which previously you had used to backup your WhatsApp account. After logging in with your google account, it will restore your chat.
