It is popular server based operating system because it is durable, reliable, stable and efficient. Red Hat Enterprise Linux is a Linux-based operating system developed by Red Hat. OS X or Mac OS X is a series of Unix-based graphical user interface operating systems developed, marketed and sold by Apple Inc. It is designed to run exclusively on Mac computers. It has its own architecture, file system and operation mode to operate. OS X, whose X is the Roman numeral for 10. The X is also used to  emphasize the relatedness between operating system and UNIX. There are different versions of operating system like Leopard, Snow Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion and iOS.
