Redmi 4 vs The Newly Launched Moto C Plus

The largest competitor of Xiaomi Redmi 4 is now available in the market. Yes, we are talking about the Moto C Plus. The Moto C Plus was launched before a few days and it is getting a good response than expected. The Moto C Plus is priced at Rs. 6,999. 

The phone has some extraordinary features which you won’t get in this price range. A selfie camera with LED flash on the front. A huge battery with quick charge support, you won’t get in the Redmi 4. This phone deserves to beat the Redmi 4A and Redmi 4’s market. The build quality is far better than the Xiaomi’s Redmi.

The performance is not as great as the Redmi 4A but it is acceptable! You get a Quad core 1.3GHz MediaTek 6737 processor powered by 2GB RAM. You get 16GB of storage which you can expand further via microSD card.

You get a 4000mAh removable battery which supports rapid charging! Yes, you get 10W rapid charger with this phone. You can use two sim cards with microSD card because it is not a hybrid type slot! (Thanks to removable battery). With a small price tag, you will miss the fingerprint scanner which you won’t get in the Redmi 4A too.

The phone will be available in three colors – Black, Gold and White. Motorola will also launch official back covers with micro textures. The Moto C Plus has a 5” HD screen which is acceptable in this price range. The quality is good in comparison of the Redmi, the display is sharp enough!

The design of the phone is quite similar to that of the Moto G5. There is a strong metal striping around the edge which makes it more appealing. The overall quality is better than its competitors. But to be honest the Moto C Plus isn’t premium in looks. It is a good option for normal usage people! The irony is that it is made up of plastic but it is more durable than the Redmi 4A. :p You get a better grip on Moto C Plus in comparison of Redmi 4A.

You get the best stock Android Nougat which is impossible in this segment. There are some minor tweaks in the ROM. The phone will feature multi-window and quick app switching technology. You will get the Google Assistant which is not even available in the 10,000 Rs. phones.

You get the navigations button on the front same as Redmi ones. Talking about the camera you will get an 8-megapixel camera at the back which has an awesome 71-degree field with LED flash. You get a small 2MP camera with LED flash on the front too.
